Business Development Manager Italy 80% - 100% (f/d/m)

You are responsible for the implementation of the wholesale market-specific strategy with a focus on Italy (70%) and complementary responsibility for other Schengen countries (30%). You work for the Italian market in close cooperation with our Senior Business Developer Italy and with the Global Wholesales Lead. You support, monitor and service the existing customers' network as well as take care of prospecting and acquiring new dealers in line with expansion strategy and goals in the assigned territories.

Your Mission

  • You are responsible for the implementation of the country-specific market strategy under constant observation of trends, competition, market needs, etc.
  • You create and implement revenue- and sales plans in cooperation with the Senior Business Developer Italy and the Wholesales Lead Global and ensure that sales targets in your area of competence are achieved
  • You provide a premium level of support to the existing dealer's network
  • You organize your agenda and travel plans autonomously (availability to travel is around 50%)
  • You visit your customers regularly to present new products and collections, to monitor and improve the Visual Merchandising of FREITAG products and continuously train them on the brand product line, material development etc.
  • You create and evaluate various reports and analysis, such as new product’s sales forecasts, customer’s yearly budgeting, product sellout performance, etc.
  • You are responsible for the market activation through events, sales promotions, OPL seeding as well as local activities and on-site media maintenance

Your Backpack

  • You are based in northern Italy, ideally in Milan
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in Wholesales in the Italian and/or European market
  • You speak fluent Italian and English. German and/or Spanish are a plus
  • You are interested in the lifestyle- and fashion industry, preferably in an urban, design-oriented brand environment in Italy
  • You have a flair for numbers and can easily develop sales plans, forecasts and action plans
  • You are familiar with Google Suite, are proficient in Excel and have experience with ERP and ordering systems
  • You have a visionary and strong sales personality and can work independently and in an organized manner across different roles
  • You like to travel (professionally) and draw your energy from it and you enjoy the FREITAG brand
